Dividing the Timeline
Listen to your song and place markers at the major formal sections of your song. The markers are in the global tracks window. You can also use the ARRANGEMENT markers, they are quite useful. Take your time to do this right.
COOL TIP: Look up the lyrics for the song... it will help you figure out the form.
Once completed, take a screen shot of the arrange window with the markers.
